*edited* We did have a few words on here bemoaning the fact that one of our most proactive fundraisers and organisers, Papillon, had upped sticks to start a new episode in Holland. It ended up sounding so much like an obituary that she was forced to come back to London just to show us all she wasn’t actually dead. So! Thanks for coming back et Viva la Papillon! x

Speaking of thanks and sincerest apologies for the delay (now thankfully fixed, broken LCEF web-box impedes reporting) we want to heartily congratulate Greg, Emily and Dean for the sterling job they did with their sponsored ride from Lands End to London over Easter weekend. Greg’s beautifully enthusiastic and winning way paved the way for a brilliant effort in securing sponsorship pledges for the challenge and when we joked about a £200 target, no-one would have guessed he’d manage to raise a truly admirable pot of over £500. That’s real money. The LCEF have paid out five times this year so far so that money really does go to a good place. It helps. A lot. In a very real way.
